Information and screening
Money Wize Owl provides general information and an initial screening for South African adults. Its guides and calculator are not individual financial, legal or credit advice. The assessment does not submit a formal Debt Review application, run a credit check or guarantee acceptance, reduced payments, legal protection or debt cancellation.
How the screening works
Unemployed responses are routed first. Existing Debt Review responses are then separated. Other responses use central screening thresholds of income above R5,000 and debt above R30,000. Chosen bands use representative values. These are this service’s referral criteria, not legal minimums or a substitute for an individual assessment.
Costs and contact
This online assessment is free. Formal debt counselling has fees, which the provider should explain before you proceed. Requesting contact is optional and does not guarantee a call, a matching provider or any outcome. Optional marketing permission is separate.
Your responsibilities
Use your own accurate details and do not submit another person’s information without authority. Do not misuse the form or attempt to bypass security controls. This service is intended for people aged 18 or older.
